Calcutta Brasserie continues to innovate with movie night

Movie night at Calcutta Brasserie is back and, following a public vote, the Indian restaurant in Stony Stratford will be showing Dirty Dancing on Tuesday 12 August at 7pm.

For their second edition of movie night, Calcutta Brasserie screened Danny Boyle’s superb Slumdog Millionaire to a packed crowd and provided free popcorn for all the guests to the free event. The showing of the 80s classic will be the venue’s third film showing that continues to grow in popularity.

The restaurant’s ‘Wine and Spice’ offer will be in effect during the movie night which includes: a starter, a main course, a glass of wine and poppadoms for £12.95 per person. The offer is available from Monday to Thursdays.

The owner, Ali Abdul said that “It’s our pleasure to host our lovely customers for a free evening of entertainment. We’re always looking for new ways to make the experience here a lasting experience.”

The next movie night will be on the 12th of August at 7pm and Dirty Dancing will be screened for all guests to enjoy free of charge with complimentary popcorn.
